Casebolt Sees Rain Prior to Feature at Moler...
12, 2019) Making his first appearance since breaking his
thumb back on September 21 at Atomic (OH) Speedway, Steve Casebolt
traveled to Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio on Friday night,
October 11 for the track's 'Championship Bash,' which boasted a
$5,000 payday for the Super Late Models. Steve ran second in his
heat race and was scheduled to roll off from the outside of the
third row in the 32-lap main event. Unfortunately, Mother Nature
swooped in prior to the start of the race and rain showers wiped
out the remainder of the unsanctioned contest. More information

Thumb in Wreck at Atomic Speedway...
(September 22, 2019) The c9 Enterprises team rolled
into Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana and Atomic Speedway in Alma,
Ohio on September 20-21 for a pair of Super Late Model contests.
On Friday night in a $12,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
showdown at Kokomo, Steve Casebolt placed sixth in his loaded heat
race and was an early retiree in the attrition-filled 50-lap main
event to wind up nineteenth in the final finishing order. In a weekly
$2,000 to win program on Saturday evening at Atomic, Steve ran second
in his heat race, but rolled under his front bumper in the headliner
and hit the wall - finishing in the twelfth position. His thumb
was unfortunately fractured in the incident, as it was caught in
the steering wheel when he made hard contact with the wall and Steve's
injury will most likely keep him out of racing action for a few
weeks. Full results from both weekend races can be located online
