Casebolt's Weekend Shortened Following Granite City Tangle

Steve Casebolt and the #c9 team made the trek to Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois on Friday evening, July 12 for a $12,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series contest. Steve placed seventh in his loaded heat race and later wound up fourth in his B-Main, but tore up his race car in a consolation race incident. The Richmond, Indiana ace was unable to make the start in the 50-lap feature event and nixed plans to travel further west to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. Steve Casebolt Sees Rain at Zanesville; Competes at PRP

Following a rain-out on Wednesday night of a $12,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series showdown at Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio, a similar contest was held on Thursday evening, July 4 at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. Steve Casebolt ran sixth in his stacked heat race and later nabbed the fifth transfer spot through his B-Main to gain access into the 50-lap main event, which boasted a $12,000 top prize. Steve then started twenty-first on the feature grid and was knocking on the door to a top ten finish when he unfortunately suffered problems under the hood. Casebolt Tackles Hell Tour Event at Brownstown...

Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team headed to Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on Thursday night, June 27 for a visit by the DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour. Steve laid down the sixth fastest time in Group B during the qualifying session before placing second in his heat race. After starting the $5,000 to win main event from the outside of the fourth row, Steve ran amongst the top ten early in the 40-lap distance before pulling off the racing surface after only 24 circuits and he was relegated to a twentieth place effort. Steve Casebolt Sets Fast Time; Runs Second at Atomic!

The c9 Enterprises team made their way to Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on Friday evening, June 21 for a $5,000 to win unsanctioned event dubbed as 'The Night the Stars Come Out.' Steve Casebolt was quick right out of the box by earning Fast Time honors during the qualifying session before placing second in his heat race. The Richmond, Indiana ace then moved up to finish second in the 30-lapper behind only race winner Freddie Carpenter. Saturday's $5,000 to win tilt at Florence (KY) Speedway was then washed out due to persistent rain showers. Casebolt Pockets $5,000 in Boone Coleman Gator 50!

Steve Casebolt, of Richmond, Indiana, reached victory lane for the first time in 2019 on Saturday evening, June 15 at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio! Steve timed in seventh quickest overall during the qualifying session and later picked up a win in heat race action. After starting seventh on the grid in the 'Boone Coleman Memorial Gator 50,' Steve rocketed to the front of the field and took the point on lap twelve. Steve then kept his #c9 mount out front throughout the remainder of the 50-lapper to pocket the $5,000 winner's check ahead of Jackie Boggs, Colten Burdette, Rod Conley, and Shannon Thornsberry! Steve Casebolt in Action in $125k Dirt Late Model Dream

The #c9 team ventured to the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 6-8 for the 25th edition of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' Steve Casebolt unfortunately narrowly missed out on Thursday's $10,000 to win Twin 25 feature event after running seventh in his heat race and fourth in his B-Main, while he won his stacked heat race on Friday evening prior to placing fourteenth in the final finishing order of the $10,000 to win main event. At the "Big E" on Saturday, all eyes were focused on the whopping $125,000 payday in the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' Steve unfortunately did not transfer into the 100-lap grand finale after finishing sixth in his heat race and thirteenth in his B-Main. Casebolt Runner-Up at Atomic; Fourth at Moler!

Steve Casebolt, of Richmond, Indiana, claimed a pair of impressive top five finishes over the long Memorial Day holiday weekend! On Thursday night, May 23 in the $3,000 to win 'Throwback 30' at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio, Steve timed in third fastest overall during qualifying, ran second in his heat race, and later advanced up to second in the 30-lapper to trail only victor Tyler Carpenter. On Monday evening, May 27 in a $2,500 to win special at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio, Steve scored a victory in heat race action prior to claiming a strong fourth place showing in the A-Main behind only race winner Duane Chamberlain, Chad Stapleton, and Tyler Carpenter. Steve Casebolt Continues Season in Outlaws Stop in Ohio

The World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series took the c9 Enterprises team to the Buckeye State on May 17-18 for a pair of $10,000 to win shootouts at Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio and Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio. With the event at Zanesville washing out on Friday night, Steve Casebolt was only able to turn laps on Saturday evening at WCS. The Richmond, Indiana ace knocked down the fifteenth fastest time overall during qualifying before securing the fifth transfer spot through his stacked heat race. Steve then started fifteenth on the feature grid, but overheating issues caused him to retire after only seventeen circuits in the eighteenth position. Casebolt Competes in American Ethanol Stop at Attica

Steve Casebolt and the #c9 team entered one lone event over the weekend, as they rolled into Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday night, May 10 for an American Ethanol Late Model Tour (AELMT) showdown. The 'Buckeye 40' drew a strong field of cars to vie for the $4,000 winner's check. Steve stopped the clock nineteenth fastest overall during qualifying and later grabbed the fourth transfer spot through his heat race. After starting the 40-lap main event from the outside of the eighth row, Steve was trying to advance through the field when his nose folded under and he was forced to retire in the nineteenth spot. The c9 Enterprises team invaded Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio on Sunday, April 28 for the inaugural edition of the 'Atomic 100.' The unsanctioned Super Late Model showdown at the former K-C Raceway boasted a $10,000 winner's check. Steve Casebolt timed in third quickest overall during qualifying prior to picking up the victory in heat race action. After starting third on the feature grid in the 100-lap affair, Steve was running second and had his eye on the first place prize when he was unfortunately forced to retire on lap 78 with a pin hole in his radiator. The Richmond, Indiana standout was relegated to a disappointing thirteenth place performance in the rain-postponed 'Atomic 100.' Casebolt Eighth at Atomic Speedway; Fourth at Brownstown

Steve Casebolt and his #c9 team roared into Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio and Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana from April 11-13 and left with a pair of strong finishes in the high-profile races. On Thursday night in the $12,000 to win 'Buckeye Spring 50,' which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Steve placed third in his loaded heat race prior to moving up to eighth in the 50-lap headliner. At Brownstown on Saturday evening in a $5,000 to win Schaeffer's Oil MARS Racing Series battle, Steve qualified well, won his heat race, and later drove to an impressive fourth place showing in the 40-lapper behind only race winner Kent Robinson, Devin Gilpin, and Dean Carpenter.
